Why wont my 2001 honda civic play my cd-r?

Question:
My car is crazy, it will play cd-rs...like memorex, fujifilm cd-r. etc

Speaker has low volume and doesnt vibrate. blown?


But i burned a cd and it wont play it, the files are the same as the ones as the others that play (.cda) its a cd-r just like the rest?

Saab Clarion radio/cassette and equalizer problem.?

try using a better quality CD ! That might work. Although I strongly suggest you to replace your stock stereo and upgrade! Not only will you be able to play all types of CD's maybe even MP3's if compatible,but you will get way better sound quality !

check the way it was copy i made copys for friends and the honda club and they all have civics some with the factory cd anc they work fine there is something wrong that you are doing or the format is the problem

Some players are just weird with formats. It will play .mp3 but not the newer format continuously comming out.
Also, some players won't play even a slightly scratched cd.

Just try to burn using .mp3 or .wma formats. Nearly ALL players nowdays play these formats.
