Why don't the buttons on my faceplate respond?

Question:
I have a 10 year old Kenwood KRC-S300 car stereo with a six disc changer in the trunk. It has a removable faceplate. I suddenly find that none of the controls on the faceplate do anything at all. The CDs play, but I can't change tracks, volume etc or switch mode. Tapes play if I put one in. It stopped working overnight while in-dash. Anything I can do, or is it busted? Does it possibly have a Lock feature that I don't know about? Thanks

i have 3 rockford fosgate 12" P3 subwoofers how can i wire them to a monoblock audiobahn a1600v amp??

well considering its 10 years old, i would say either the buttons are shot, or 10 years of moisture have taken the toll on your stereo and fried the circuits. Time to get a new head unit man, i had to replace my old clarion. Just do it its definately worth it.
