How to make an in dash dvd player work without it the car being in park?
Using ohms law, voltage (V)= current (I) x resistance (R)I hooked up an amp and it fried the second i hooked it up, is this my fault .?
The amp will drive to a given voltage, and to maintain the same voltage will need to provide twice the current as the resistance is halved.
How do you set the clock on a 1985 cadillac eldorado symphony sound radio?
At low levels, the sound will probably clip as the amp can't provide sufficient instant current. If you run it at a high level for a period of time, the amp will overheat.
You will burn out your amp eventually.
What will be agood amp to push 2 12" polkaudio momo 400 watts each?

4ch. amp rate @ 60wx4 is good enough for 1 set of comp speakers rate @ 110 max RMS power output?
as long as the sub's ohms do NOT excede the amps ohms you will be fine. if the sub's ohms more than the amp, it will draw too much power and drain your battery and possibly destroy your ampYes, if your amplifier is not rated to operate at 4ohms you will likely overheat it. If it doesn't have a protection/safe mode you'll blow the amp. Don't do.
What you could do is get two 4 ohm sub woofers and wire them in series to your amp, then you will have an 8ohm load appropriate for your amp.
Is it alright if I connect 4 speakers to a 2 channel amp?
If your amplifier is rated for a minimum 8-ohm impedance, using 4-ohm speakers can cause it to overheat, distort more easily, and shut down under load; there is a possibility of damaging the amplifier as well. You may have no problem at lower volumes, but when you turn it up you may overload the amplifier.Yuppers, bad news. You gotta match up the ohms. Add a resistor to the sub woofer circut or buy a matching woof.
I need 4 sub and 2 amp don't matter the cost...?
if the speakers dual voice coil then run it so it matches 8 ohms then it will last longer..there will be like half the power going so the sub but still ur not gona burn ur **** up..get a new sub if it isnt dvcyes it matters
Not unless you like to see an amp smoke.
Why go into the car audio business if your not going to stock anything.?
what kind of amp are you using? I have yet to see a modern car amplifier with an 8 ohm minimum impedance.More Questions & Answers ...
