Question:
The car has new spark plugs, wires, and coils. I had the ignition module checked and it was good. I put a new ECM in to the car to see if that was it... it wasn't. I checked for burnt fuses and couldn't find any. I used a test light to see if the wires to the ignition module were getting power... they were. There is something funny though about it all. The car will spark if you trick it. In order to trick it you have to have the key switch on the setting right before the cranking over possition. I had the spark plug out and by metal in order to see if there was spark. When I unplug the wires that go to the ignition module then plug them back in, while the key is on that setting, then there is spark that is sent through the spark plug that I had out. I can't figure out why it wont do it by its self when I crank the car.

sounds to me that all of your trouble is in the ignition switchhow is the power from thhe ignition switch. i ask because you are having to turn the lock cyl. to a position right before the crank position.
