For an all wheel drive vehicle, the only pro is appearance. The cons will be fitment (it will be hard to find a wider wheel with a shallow enough offset to sit flush with the fenders) and inability to rotate your tires.

Staggered wheels are used on rear wheel drive cars to improve the grip of the drive (rear) wheels. This also has the effect of increasing understeer.
