All Subaru come with a stereo in them.When I was looking at WRXs a while ago the Impreza and Impreza WRX did come standard with stereos, however, the STi didn't come with one standard, but it could be put in if you wanted. The idea is that the STi is more for speed and racing than comfort or your everyday commute (hense it's 16 MPG rating) and removing the radio reduced weight, thereby increasing speed.
So, in conclusion, the Impreza and Impreze WRX comes with a radio standard, the STi does not.
