That's an easy one, Chevy of course.I have had three boyfriends that at some time or another have had Ford F-150's, and they all sucked.
They would rust really easily, something always went on them, and most winter mornings you had to let them warm up for at least a good 15mins. They suck!

well I would go for a Chevy Ive had a ranger and an f150 in the past. the ranger was brand new and only put 5000mi on it and the motor blew. and the f150 was the nosiest uncomfortable truck to drIve. ive never had a Chevy but allot of my friends do and they love them.hope this helps

And to generalize a brand for crash tests is kinda silly, as most crash tests are . . .um, hit and miss. Except for some high-end cars and Volvos, many companies' portfolio run the gamut.

I come from a Ford family, I drive the "baby" Ford in the family. A 1989 Ranger with 190 000km on it, very low milage for the age, expecially in my family with the average milage up in the 400 000km - 500 000km range. My grandfather had a 1998 Ford F-250, He was on the highway and swurved for a wolf or something, hit the ditch and rolled his truck down a 100ft + hill. He stopped about 80ft down when the front of the truck hit a bolder. He hit hard enough the engine compartment/front clip was 90degree to the rest of the truck. When they found him, the engine was still running, despite the fact that the engine compartment was just crushed in (it hit with the hood's top first). he walked away when they got him out of the truck and onto the road. He could get out of the truck, they found him sitting on the driver door. He just couldn't get up or down the hill.Location of fuel filter on 1998 Malibu LS?
An uncle of mine had a 1994 Ford F-150 and was driving home from the mill he worked at. A guy crossed the line and they hit head on. The other driver was killed, my uncle, after being cut out, walked away. The area of the road was 110km/h. My uncle knows he was doing at least 140km. and the guessed that the other guy (in a comaro) was testing fate at about 180km. It hit hard enough it pused the transmission up through the floor and ripped the passenger seat out, andthe engine came through the fire wall and was sitting where the steering wheel was, the steering whell was against his chest. after they cut him out, he walked to the ambulance.
Aside from accidents, Our Fords have never let us down. I have another uncle with a 1984 F-250 with 600 000km+ on it. and this is the second one he's doen that to. I find Ford trucks just last longer then Chevrolet trucks. My grandfater replaced his (totaled) F-250 with a Silverado, he's had to have it towed to Kamloops (a good 2 hours away) when it has broke down (becaue the repair shop they have intown is just for minor repairs, is a small town about 1000 - 1500 people, most everyone does their own work). He's had to have it towed a few times. Thats nearing $300 for towing, maybe $400, each time, not including repairs (that have been $2000+ each time). My family is not that family where if something goes wrong then we fix it. is where if its getting to that point of age or wear, then we fix it. we do everythign before recomended service, and get [next to] no repairs because of it.
And you Import guys, If you want to see what real trucks look like got to a mining, farming, or industral town, then you'll see real trucks in work, Ford's, GM's and Dodge's. No one in thoes towns buys any of that import crap.

Ford. They build much better trucks. You notice that everytime Ford designs something Chevy is not too far along with copying them. If you don't believe me then look at the new Chevy trucks they look just like the Fords. Just don't buy a piece of junk ricer.More Questions & Answers ...
