If you recently had a radio put in and it has been happening since then I'm sure that is your problem. The same thing happened on my ex-girlfriends car with the taillight fuse. I took out the radio and looked it over and found a bare wire that was shorting out against a ground. I would reccoment you take your out and look it over thoroughly to make sure there is no loose wires, bare wires, or wires connected to the wrong things.

When they installed the stereo, they may have pinched the wire running to the cig lighter. If it is shorted to ground, it'll blow fuses all the time. If this isn't the problem, you may have a bad horn or horn relay.

There could be a short in your wiring to your horn, this can be in the steering column or under the hood. You could have a short in the cigarette lighter plug in, maybe a foreign object...a penny stuck in there or a wire broken or loose.

Does this new radio quit working when the fuse blows? If so then I would say your radio is hooked up improperly and needs to be hooked up and fused separately. Some radio installers see the cigarette lighter wire as an easy place to hook up to because that wire always has power.

Where can I get exterior rubber moldings e46 1999 323 sedan?

the best thing to do is to have it looked at a shop before the car goes up in flames. something is not wired right in the radio system. could be as simple as a small cut on a wire to wired
improperly.

They either screwed up the wiring, or you have a short somewhere.

How many gears does the alfa romeo 145 twinspark have?

i agree with doug, when they put the new radio in they may have been looking for an easy access 12v always on wire for the radio memory.if memory serves, your model has those two on a always on circuit,so the installer probaly figured theyd just tap onto that line, nnot realizing that the radio would overtax the circuit, and cause the fuse to go.take it back to the installer and tell them they need to run a seperate wire from the fuse panel ( on an unused empty slot ) to the radio. the installer was probaly inexperienced, and didnt know a seperate wire needs to be run.

1989 honda prelude jdm scene please answer asap!?

I have had a similar problem in the past. In my case, the problem was that the horn was actually bad. They will go bad without warning and the next time you blow the horn, you will think it is strange that your horn doesn’t work. That popped the fuse. Putting in a new fuse and trying to blow the horn would instantly pop it again. In my situation, I replaced the horn w/ a known working one and have not had the problem since.
