my peugeot 206lx and i dont no why it doest work its been off the road for a month.the AA man said it was the relay.so i got a new one and it didnt do anythink so i thought it would be the ecu.its the brain if some people dont know .so i go it tested and it was no good so i got a new one and put it on it did work for 3 mins and then it cut out .my chap thinks its the coil pack.but i dont know wot it is can someone help me plz.

Please take your car to a certified mechanic. Not an AA man. Your car problem CAN BE diagnosed. Your car will be tested on a computer and the problem will be found. You will not have to buy unnecessary parts, and people on the internet will not have to GUESS without seeing your car. Go to a Peugeot mechanic and get some good advice.
That's the advice of this man who can actually fix cars, not whine and cry like someone, thousands of miles from any actual Peugeot repair experience.

For once in my life I'm not trying to be a smart-a** -- the problem is it's a PEUGEOT!! For the life of me I cannot understand why you people keep buying that garbage. They are the most troublesome, undependable vehicles on the road outside of Red China. You can repair your car a dozen times for the same problem and it will break-down another dozen times for inexplicable reasons that no mechanic can diagnois. Don't they sell Toyotas, Nissans or Hondas in Europe??Ugh..
P.S. - to Mr. Trevor (aka, 'I love pain so I buy and work on POS Peugeots'), I have been in the automobile industry longer than you have been living in your parent's basement. I have worked as a professional auto-body technician, painter, fabricator and have been in insurance claims for the last twenty years. I am more than qualified to determine what constitutes a good car vs a piece of s*it. Peugeot builds and sells s*it. What burns me about them is they are perfectly capable of building great cars (like their racing cars) but elect to push rusting, wheezing, undependable garbage onto the buying public. What burns me about YOU is that you keep right on buying them and then get defensive about it when I'm just busting your balls and joking around.

when you bought the ecu did you get the coill blocks whith it?Proformance show at international center?
my brother works in a peugeot garage and he says this can be be commen if you put a new ecu on with old coil blocks it can blow the new ecu and that when you buy a new ecu you should get new blocks with it in the box!
also i work in a garage and have done a few of these and it sorted the problem hope this helps
