my peugeot 206lx and i dont no why it doest work its been off the road for a month.the AA man said it was the relay.so i got a new one and it didnt do anythink so i thought it would be the ecu.its the brain if some people dont know .so i go it tested and it was no good so i got a new one and put it on it did work for 3 mins and then it cut out .my chap thinks its the coil pack.but i dont know wot it is can someone help me plz.

Why has your car been off the road for a month? Are you short on money to go to a good mechanic? Is that why you want the AA man and "your chap" and people on the internet to test your engine without seeing it?Please madame. I have a sister, mother, friends with car problems. They can turn to me OR.. spend the money on a professional mechanic. Borrow the money if you must, but you need your car. Everybody has car problems from time to time. Everybody.
Please take your car to a certified mechanic. Not an AA man. Your car will be tested on a computer and the problem will be found. You will not have to buy unnecessary parts, and people on the internet will not have to GUESS without seeing your car. You really haven't said much about the car here, madame.

Well It could be many things. Anywhere in the ignition to the lighting and electrical could be out. If you replaced the ECU than it sounds like it would likely be in the electrical wiring and housing. Get an ASE certified mechanic to help.
