Question:
My great aunt is about to give me an '84 Audi. It was one of 100 built. Either this type or this exact car was used in the '84 Olympics held in L.A. I was wondering if anyone had any information pertaining to this type of car. I would like to know the model, and perhaps an estimated value. Sorry I can't give more info, but even my own searches have come up empty. Thanks.

Im looking for a soft top for a 95 wrangler- any suggestions?
I seem to remember an ad where an Audi was going UP an Olympic ski slope. My guess would be an Audi Quattro, a two door with all wheel drive. They only sold 600 some Quattros between 1983 and 1986. They also made a shorter version of this car in limited release called the Sport Quattro. That's my guess, and it could be worth some money. Later they made one with 444 horsepower but I don't know if they sold it for the street.Check Wikipedia under Audi Quattro for more info.PS- I'd love to know what it is!There were only 5 Audi models made in 84. The 4000 S Quattro, 5000, Coupe GT, Quattro Turbo, and the Sport Quattro. So it has to be one of these five models. I have no idea how to find out how many entered production. But if they only made 100 of which ever model you have it could be very valuable, $40,000+ depending on the condition of course. The commercial that the other answer mentions contains an audi 100cs, you can view this video on youtube.com search for Audi Quatro. Maybe if I had a picture of the car I could tell you more.
