FJ Crusier Questions?

will be located near the drivers side up under the dash, sounds to me it could be an actuator problem on the drivers lock.

Which one is better?

take it to the dealer and see if your warranty covers it.

My VR6 Jetta will not start, can anyone help?

If you life in one of the RUST states, you will need to do some homework. Check with the local Hyundai dealership to see if there are any Campaigns that you qualify for. (Could be some warranty) Next, you will need some type of repair manual (Mitchel or Motors) to find the test sequences.
Be sure to check ALL the fuses. Then you will need to check the door SWITCHES. If you have not found the trouble by this time... you will need to remove the door panels and test the solenoids INSIDE the door.
Best scenario: Fuse or door switch
Worst scenario: Frozen or bad lock motors (solenoids)
