Does a '97 Subaru Legacy GT have THREE catalytic convertors?

I see the muffler, I see what appears to be a resonator and I see three things that all look like cats. Are all three of them?

My 02 wrx has (had) three cats in the exhaust so I belief that you probrably have a similar setup. If you ask me catalytic convertors are a band-aid measure to please environmentalists and result in poorer performance and decreased fuel mileage. I think subaru of America is just trying to make peace with its consumer base of tree hugging northeasterners (no offense intended if you are among this group).
