2 valve is easy and have been doing them since 1997..pretty easy just remember to torque down the plugs or they can blow out..
3 valve since 2004 and they are a B**** ... Ford actually came up with a TSB on how to remove them.... requires a 9/16th plug socket... lots of PB Blaster.. and tons of patience.. if not, unless you have the special tool, you will be pulling the heads to pull a portion of the plug out

Be very afraid. Google Ford spark plug blowout. From 98 till 04 the #3 plug has a propensity to blow out. Especially after a tune up. I'll never change mine again. Mucho dollars to fix once it happens. PLEASE LOOK BEFORE YOU CHANGE THEM. I would dump the truck before I change mine again $7000 for a motor. I'm just trying to help.It takes around 3 hrs to change all the plugs. On the #3 plug when installing put anti seize on the threads and use a torque wrench and torque all of them to factory specs.If I remember correctly they should be torqued to 12-14 #'s.
