Question:
I was wondering how a 4.0 sounds with dual exhaust. I have my tips already they are 3" diameter and 22" long. And I have heard people go both ways for duals on a 4.0. Anyone on here own or heard a 4.0 with duals? HELP PLEASE!!

Where is the transmission fluid stick in 1995 acura integra?
2 ways to do this..1. dual outlet header. bad idea without other mods like cam, etc. (loss of low end torque)
2. single exhaust, then a muffler with one inlet and two outlets. not a bad idea, but a dumb one. it's only cosmetic.
What is the problems of Porsche 911 Turbo 2005 &2006?
Here's what I did. Use a low restriction catalitic converter and a dynomax or similar turbo muffler. I couldn't find it on line, but the one that I had on my rig was great and had no "lip" on the ends to get caught on rocks. It was built like a skid plate! If I find it, I'll add the info. I have included a link for more info.Ok.I found it! Flowmaster. Everyone thought I had a V8 when I had this on my CJ. Awesome sound, but not too loud, and super durable like a skid plate.
What's it going to take for Dr. Z to unload Chrysler?
Does not cut HP..PERIOD. have two with this conversion and dyno tested. You cannot use 22" tips as the will not clear the rear spring hangers and the fuel tank. The dual outlet muffler makes things easier, but you will find that going over 2" on each pipe is a tight fit going across the frame. Note, MAKE sure that you do not get any closer to the fuel tank, pump, and fuel lines than necessary as you cross over the the driver side. Suggest that you insulate the pipes. Sound is very unique as the outlets are slightly out of phase due to unequal length pipes. Oh, yes, forget Flow Master. Have tried twice and will rust out at internal baffle welds in less than two years. Too loud for Suv as resonates on back glass. Sounds neat at first then gets old.More Questions & Answers ...
