92 Geo Tracker (Chevy tracker/Suzuki Sidekick) - Engine random stalls and won't restart?

Question:
I'm on the highway, and suddenly the engine failed. But after a couple of seconds, engine start again by releasing the cluth or with starter.

The problem began to occur more frequently, first the engine would run fine but would not start after turned off when hot.. Wait a minute and the engine would start.

Then, problem started while driving. The engine would stall randomly. Usually engine would always restart after a minute or two. Things got worst, it could work for 2 days without a problem, sometimes not more than 5 minutes.

Do bigger rims and wider tiers make the car handle or corner better?

Yesterday, I had to wait 10 hours. Today, it won't start at all. When I turn the key ON, i can hear the gas pump humming for a few secs, spark plugs are sparking, gas is coming out from injectors, air filter is new.

Why are BMWs driven by idiots?

Maybe tomorrow it will start again but if I go on the road, I am sure it will stall out after about 30 minutes and it won't restart. The thing is very random.

Looking for free manuals for a Nissan D21 pick up 1987 -any suggestions?

Does anyone no were i can get a turbo for a 92 mr2?

I really recommend taking the vehicle to a professional because this problem can be any of the major systems; fuel/air, ignition, mechanical or computer control. A likely cause for this problem, however, is a faulty fuel pump. A fuel pump that is weak can have this sort of symptom. I know that you wrote that you can hear it spinning, but this does not mean that it is providing sufficient pressure and volume to run the engine. It is also possible to have resistance in the circuit which does not allow a good pump enough current to provide adequate pressure and volume. The first thing that I would do is check to see, when it doesn't start, whether you are missing fuel, spark, or neither. If you have fuel pressure at specification, probably in the 35-45 psi range, and no spark, then you can start with the ignition system. If you have good spark with a basic tester, then no fuel pressure you need to find out if it is the pump or something else. Use a digital multimeter to determine whether or not there is battery voltage to the fuel pump when cranking. If you do, then check to see that the voltage drop on the ground side, between battery ground and the fuel pump ground is less than .5 volts. If these both check out well but you still have no fuel, then you need a fuel pump. This is just the first basic check and I did not list contingencies for the other problems because it would occupy a book. Possible, intermittent ignition problems, if you have no spark, is most likely the ignition coil.
