Question:
i'm no escalade designer, but i really think that the new escalade is way too overpriced. when you look at the interior, it just look like GM put more comfortable leather in than the tahoe and a few more electronics, even though the exterior looks neat, but isn't enough to make it overpriced. the navigator with all the chrome, nice interior the differences from the expedition by a lot, and the THX sound system, navigation system, a big-*** dvd screen, and independent suspension, and all starts at 46,000 and ends at 51,000. the escalade starts at 55,000, and god knows where it ends at. but what i'm trying to say is that the navigator really beats the escalae in pretty much everything except horsepower (which wil change in 2008 when they put the ford boss engine giving the navi 420 hp).

Any know how Kia compares to Toyota?
Just like ALOT of products out there the added price markup of the escalade has NOTHING to do with any added items the vehicle may have, the added prices lie DIRECTLY in the Cadillac Namebadge alone. If you want the cream of the crop the GMC Yukon Denalli IS without a doubt the way to go. The Denali comes standard with better features than either the PUKE-On or the Escalade have to offer, even fully loaded. and YES the Navigator beats all 3 of them outWhy does my 1995 mazda millenia not acccelerate?

But I like the Navigator better anyway. It has a better interior.

You pretty much answered your own question. You could get an Expedition or Suburban well-equipped for a lot less money. I've seen Escalades for upwards of $70000.More Questions & Answers ...
