Are struts expensive to replace?

Nevermind the IDIOTS who can't figure out you want to know what the weight of a V6 engine manufactured by Ford is. But the ? is WHAT V6 engine? There's several of them and knowing which one and also what it is from will help. They don't weigh that much though anywhere from 250 to 400 lbs depending on what is on them. if memory serves me right the 3.0 used in taurus's weighs right around 280 bare.
