you shouldn't be amused of what sounded like crunching on your brakes. it only means trouble. you should have your brakes cleaned and serviced. it may be a foreign material inside your brake or a worn out pad. you better do it nowI would take it back to the dealer ASAP. Its brand new (obviously) and the brakes should not be making any type of noise and don't let them tell you the brakes are new and breaking in. Have them look at them.

Are you sure it is not your abs system? It keeps your breaks from locking upWas the ground wet or slippery if it was ABS will tend to make a grinding noise and thats normal but if its squeaking then it is your pads cause they are semi metallic with it being a new car i wouldnt even worry about take it in and make them fix it
