I'll never buy another Ford. Ours had transmission problems, which Ford denied despite many letters. It was bought new by us and had low mileage. The tranny died before 50,000 and again at 80,000. Their CS dept. is clueless.

I've had 3 Fords in my life, one 74 Ford Maverick(drove it through 1989) it was a dream car, and 2 Mustangs.the only trouble I had was replace brakes once and thermostat overheated on my 10yr. old over 190,000 mileage and it only died cuz someone totaled it from crashing me over 40miles an hour. They are pretty tough cars.
