Question:
i am looking into buying one
Answers:
How do i get the factory radio out of a 2006 ford f150?
We have a 98 eddie bower explorer. My wife loves it, its great in the snow, we have 3 kids 2 in car seats they all fit in the back seat. The ball joints can be costly to replace, i am a mecanic and have done several explorer ball joints. I myself feel that the ride is a bit harsh - meaning its seems rather bumpy. all in all its a good vehical and has been a really reliable car. it started every time in the coldest weather we have had in a long time (we live in the midwest) several below 0 tempatures. Id say if it looks in good shap and well taken care of it should give you plenty of good service.A good idea is to have a trusted repair shop look over the car before you purchase to see if there are going to be repairs that will be needed on the car.A Complicated Car Question Amongst Others...?
You know I almost bought one, people either totally love them or totally hate them, I always see them on the road, never brokedown on the side of the road. My major reason I didn't buy one--Every accident I've seen on the highway that involved a ford explorer was a fatality. they seem to hydroplane alot . Obviously, seatbelts save lives, but I just wanted my odds to be a little higher.
