Have you had coolant problems? I understand that these cars as well as other GM cars have problems with the intake manifold gaskets. What did it cost to repair? Did GM cover any of the cost? How did GM respond to your complaint? Did you or will you join a Class Action Suit against GM?

My Accord 93 flashed oil light couple of times and disappeared. The oil light never came back on. Why is that?
Good question. My 2000 has been leaking for about 2 months now. My friend had one a year ago, GM wasn't covering it back then. As many of them going bad they should realize there's a problem, and do a recall and repair. Another friend told me watch who does the work, as some mechanics dont tear the engine down far enough, and are slitting the new gasket to get it in. I heard $300 at the dealership.
Also, if it leaks out the end of the engine on the drivers side, it can short out your starter. Junk yards have tons of them, $10, parts store wants $160.
So, yes I would be interested in a class action suit.

I did not have the problem, because our mechanic, who used to be a GM mechanic was nice enough to advise me to get it out of the car and replace with something else. Good luck.
