How to lower the electric window on a 98Gti so i can replace the regulator. the Bently manual shows the hand crank only.
The window is stuck all the way up.
The other thing how would you know if the problem is from the motor or the regulator?

If you take off the inside door panel and look at the cables and pulleys inside, it will be pretty easy to determine if it's the motor or the regulator.
