my volkswagens have always been good to me. i have had to repair some things, but it's a car, stuff breaks, it's what happens. i'm lucky that i'm able to do all my own work on the car, so i can save money, but the things that broke were things i could do myself (no transmission or engine problems).Where is a place in Atlanta, GA where I can get my 2007 Mustang customized?
i currently have two volkswagens, a 2003 Jetta vr6 24v and a 1987 Vanagon Syncro (which is subaru powered, but it's still a VW). the 87 has been more of a pain than the 03 without a doubt.

I also had a 1991 Jetta GLi and a 1996 Jetta, both were very reliable. the 91 only left me stranded once, and it was a broken clutch cable (very minor fix).
Should a car newbie sticking with Genuine honda car parts or go for aftermarket parts?
We had a 1986 aircooled Vanagon; kept it over 11 years. What a lovely comfortable car to sit in -- so hard to drive because of the square shape it would catch the wind, underpowered, overheat in a traffic jam, expensive to maintain and relatively poor mileage (13 - 16 mpg unless travelling mostly downhill from Tahoe to SF when mileage was always better). We were able to transport at various times sheets of plywood, queen sized mattress set, an easy chair -- Because of this, both my husband and I do miss that car, pain in the neck and pocketbook though it was. It seems every visit (even for routine dealership maintenance) was $1,000 plus and parts, major and minor, would fail or break and were expensive to replace.Paint job recalls on Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredos (1993)?

Popping noise coming from a 1972 Chevrolet C10 350?
You know, if my salesman had told me that I had to put 91 octane or higher in it, or that routine oil changes are about 75 bucks, or that the awesome smelling windshield washer fluid is NOT AVAILABLE to the general public, and is only put in cars at the factory, I probably wouldn't have bought my VW. But he didn't. And I did buy it. And now I am in love. The comfort, the style, the quality... Seriously- my car is hot. It is fast and classy- a truly AWE inspiring vehicle. Inside and out. I will ALWAYS buy VW. It is WELL worth the money. Go test drive one. You'll see. Use the wipers. It smells phenomenal.Back in '94, was there a Plymouth Duster sedan? Despite having to pour 2 grand into my 97 jetta over the past two months, once I got it back and drove it, I remembered why I fell in love with it. They are very expensive to fix but they are awesome to drive. The pick up, the smooth ride, they are great! They do have some weird electrical things though but all cars have some weird quirks, you just have to learn your car.Is it possible to put a small v8 in a 2002 toyota corolla?

Where I can find Mahindra auto parts stores in Balkan’s countries?
open ended question there. every manufacturer has some good some bad and some ugly. Volkswagen and Audi (sister companies) make a good quality product, but they are prone to leaks, oil especially. but if you look at The conditions, they do all right. they are designed in Germany or similar cold climates, and all of the recommendations are based on this climate. you take the vehicle to a warmer climate with out making any changes some problems are going to pop up.2002 Suburbun suddenly hard to start, nothing, then slowly cranks then starts.?

YYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSAnyone have experience in the Commander's 3rd row?
I have a 1999 late model Golf TDI (Turbo Direct Injection) Diesel - it gets 45 miles to the Gallon - You read it right 45 MPG on diesel Fuel since it is turbo charged it really goes fast - great acceleration 0- 60 real fast - the point is this has been a great car except for the interior plastics ( cup holders - rear view mirror adjuster - anything plastic is crappy but the car engineering is fantastic - follow the service Requirements and you will not be sorry. I bought this car in 2003 for $4000 and it still runs excellent 4 years later it now has 120,000 miles on it and does not burn a drop of oil. Still gets 45MPG even if I have it to the floorboard all the time. This car will do a actual 120 MPH and it is only a 1.9 liter Diesel – Go FigureI'm on my third one. Never had any problems until 9 years old. No engine problems, no brake problems. Survived two car crashes one serious.I bought a new golf last year and I LOVE it. I recommend them.
