You can add spark plug wires to the list above, also when you change the plugs, you should inspect them to see if one has more build up on it this would indicate misfiring. A new distributor cap might help. Check the coil, if it has points check them. Look for wires that can be to close, the spark can jump between wires causing misfires, especially if they have oil on them or if they are dirty.(a new set of wires should stop misfiring problems).Try and run them like they were originally.
