Hi I Am Looking Some Help On How To Rewire The Cigarette Lighter Outlet In My 93' Jeep Grand Cherokee?

It IS too big. It's a huge truck that burns gas and has 4-lock 4- wheel drive system (50% power to rear wheels and 50% to the front wheels). This would mean that there is a good chance of sliding around (even WITH 4-wheel drive becuase the power is equal to the front and back). What you need is a used cr-v or rav4 because the don't have too much power (4-cylinder vs. 8-cylinder), and they have an automatic 4-wheel drive systems that sends the correct amount of power to the wheel that has the most traction. They also start out with more power to the front wheels vs. the rear wheels because they are normally front wheel drive vehicles in normal driving conditions. This also redeuces the risk of sliding or hitting something becuase the vehicle is huge. I wouldn't buy him a huge truck.

Where can I get full steel doors for my jeep?

Might be too big for him. The BEST car I think would be a subaru legacy or outback. They're not stylish, not race cars, just dependable transportation, that handle as good as anything else in the weather.

How much is a 1978 Chevy pickup with 4wheel drive but no motor or transmission?Body & interior in good shape?

As long as he gets some experience behind the wheel he should be able to handle it. Ease into it and take him out when it's a little slick. Don't let him try it alone. I've drove in snowy weather several times and even though I have a feel for it I will always hate it.

how do you check valve clerance on pistons?

i think your son must reach the right/legal age first before you let him have his own car and before you allow him to drive any vehicle. it is not good for a child/minor to drive without license. what if he accidentally hit someone or hit another car?if it happensyou will be the one who is responsible for it.

is a maxima a full size sedan?

As the father of 6 children with 3 already moved out I can tell you that bad weather is just that! And no matter what you get for him unless he has common sense it won't do any good, new drivers think they are bullet proof and invincible, most pickups give a false since of security they are prone to roll overs and are very light in the rear end and slide easy, and till he learns vehicle responsibility my suggestion would be an inexpensive front wheel drive car with very little power, this is for several reasons, 1. less power means less spinning of the wheels in slick conditions, 2. less speed=less likely hood of a wreck 3. more control in adverse conditions. once his driving skills improve then get him the pickup

can you convert a 94 camaro with a 3.4sfi into a Z28 madel and were can I find the kit????????

Why does he need a truck that big, especially at 16 years old. Get him a Dodge Dakota, or something smaller, plus that size of pickup will kill you or him on gas bills. They aren't meant for a family vehicle, or a vehicle to drive to and from school. They are for hauling and towing.

How to check ignition switch '96 intrepid/how to repair or replace?

Seriously a Dodge Dakota, Chevy S10, Ford Ranger, Jeep Commanche (or any jeep for that matter) would be just as good in bad weather. If you want your son safe get him a Jeep, they are excellent in bad weather and pretty decent on gas (4.0L inline 6 cylinder models don't get a V8), I average about 26MPG in my 96 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4, that is full time 4WD.

vehicle theft deterrent system?

Your right its way to big for him to be driving especially when just learning to drive. They aren't exactly easy to park either.

my 1990 silverado overheated?

Have you thought of a full size Ford Bronco or Chevy Blazer? They have very good handling, they are safe, and not very hard to drive since they are not very long.

can you make the nissan 350z seats to for seater or will it be best not to mess with?

a 2500 or 3500 truck is going to be worse in the snow than a 1500. i'd go with a 1500, because it will get better gas mileage, and it will be better in the snow.
