Im thinking about buying a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution?

Question:
Right now I drive a 4x4 truck, and was thinking about buying a brand new Mitsubishi Lancer Evo. Is that a good car to buy. And could I still drive to Tahoe in the winter with all wheel drive? I hope so because I love to snowboard. Help me out. I want to buy a nice, fast car and not some lame sedan. Thanks.

What is the difference between the 1992 Ford "N" 302cid and the "E" 302cid motors?

Evo is perfect for your needs. Don't buy an Altima, it isn't nearly as quick, and its looks are awful. GTI's are nice cars, but I prefer sedan's over hatchbacks for more storage space and better looks. The new Evo's are beautiful and they can definitely keep you on the road in the snow, rally-inspired all wheel drive with stability control and active center differential will perform great. The interior is great, four doors with a decent back seat for your friends. It's an awesome car. Throw on a snowboard rack and you'll have an easy drive to Tahoe. Trust me, I drive mine through Colorado's mountains on a weekly basis during the winter and it does great. Highly recommend.

Does anyone know Fred Thurston who worked at Fords Halewood liverpool from 1968/1999?

Buy a Nissan Altimama instead, lancers don't seem that great anyways, Have you checked the consumer reports for the lancer, you should check that magazine out and compare all the cars you want in order to pick the best one out.

My ford expedition is making a beeping sound on the driver side?

Depends on your tastes. The Evo is a great car, with power, looks, the whole package. The only thing that might disappoint you is the lack of comfort. The Evo is a great track car, but not the best daily driver for your typical driver. If you can deal with it day to day, then great, but remember this is a rally bred street car and it maintains that edge. And Mitsubishi does have some issues, which is what ultimately led me to Subaru. Not that I'm trying to lead you that way, but the STi is a much easier car to live with. AWD is great in the snow, so you should have no real worries there. If you do decide to get one, now you've just got to decide between getting the current Evo IX or waiting for the X to come out..

How would you know if you have a bad engine control system in a 96 jeep grand cherokee?

World of difference going from a truck to a car, but the EVO is rather capable. I would also like to point out that I found the EVO to be very comfortable as a driver, and that it was basically built as a rally car (not meant for drives in deep snow). The AWD system is great, but I wouldn't compare it to a truck.

I have a corolla CE and the inside lights, clock, stereo is not working.?

You may regret for not having enough space to carry your snowboard including other passengers, luggages, etc . that you used to just throw everything into your truck ..

92 Geo Tracker (Chevy tracker/Suzuki Sidekick) - Engine random stalls and won't restart?

All pros. Sinfully fast, best handling car outside of having to spend at least $50k on an Elise, 4 doors, seats 5, awd. The straight EVO is well worth the price. The RS is what we call "the not worth it EVO" and the EVO MR is overpriced.

Do you know the radio code to a 2000 chevy blazer?

The only con I have on my EVO. Stock clutch started is a piece of crap and started slipping at 3,000 miles. And my CEL goes on from a misfire every 4 months.

Why does my 1990 volvo 740 bog?

trust me it's a beautiful,fast,quick,stylish,a... machine, but, you must keep up on mainainence, fill w/premium and change tires, oil, brake fliud etc; periodically. if you don't it will not be a very reliable car, always somthing to work on with that car, but i'd say it's the best experience in the world when you hit 25psi to the floor...0-gone anytime.
