Answers:
What is the most expensive car in the US?
I replaced the two on my daughters 95 Cabrio (convertible golf) for $380. It's better to replace both at the same time, especially if your doing the work. Typically, there is a clicking sound coming from the wheel that is going bad. If it turns to a grinding sound, get it done as soon as possible! If you don't, you will have more parts to replace and spend more money! My 1969 Pontiac Lemans also has GTO badges on it, did Pontiac put both on it's cars back then?

Why don't the R&D of car companies assign the responsibilities and the reward ?
Clicking on turns and Aceleration are the first indicators and a torn boot (usualy on the outer CV) are all good indicators...Turn the Steering wheel all the way right or left and then look inside the wheel area.. you will see a shaft with a boot on it coming out to the wheel and it will have an inner and outer CV. If the boot is torn or split and grease is slung around that area, chances are that you will need a replacement CV shaft assembly...many parts stores offer these with a lifetime warranty...good luck
Do i have to modify any other part to put in the SR20DET?
take a look at your front axles to where it meets the hub. there is a rubber boot. if that boot is torn or looks old and like it will be torn, you need a new CV joint. also, if there is a ton of heavy grease inside your wheel or on the back of the brake assembly, you have a broken boot. it does not take long to replace and the parts come in a kit (grease, new boot, and clamps)IS THERE ANY CHAT SiTES U CAN GET ON THE SiDEKiCK?
You will hear a clicking noise when you turn. Average price will run about $139 - $150.00 a side. If there is only on joint bad - just replace that one. It's one of those things that you need to replace both-sides.More Questions & Answers ...
