I like the way it looks so I'm not interested in people saying it's a bad car because of it's looks. I'm a small girl so leg room doesn't matter. I'm worried about if it's dependable and the gas mileage? If you're an owner what are must have add ons? Is it nice driving? I'm not TOO concerned about speed.

i have 5k miles on my 06 xb and i'm getting 40 mpg! woohoo! i didn't start getting that mileage until now, i guess you need to break in the engine first. But it gets SUPER gas mileage. I've had it for 8 months now, no problems at all. Except my seat smells like fart cuz i fart alot. LOL! But i'm going to wash that out with some berry sunshine unicorns or something like that.....Yeah it's a very reliable car that is very cheap on gas and would recommend to anyone who wants to save money on a car and get one that is fun to drive. I refer to my car as my friend, not my car. So i go out with my friend everyday, not my car. You will get attached to it. it's like the little train that could. lol. Its a good car but wind can be a problem.Driving is fun but its a bit bumpy and if you get in a wreck, your screwed.

Dependability is not an issue because as someone mentioned, Scions are rebadged Toyota's. You should get AT LEAST 30MPG, which is pretty good. Funny though because my tC gets about 36mpg with a fairly bigger (2.4L) engine. I road in a xB, and the ride was rubbish! I thought we were on a cobble stone road, but that's just me.
