Did anybody see Toyota had ANOTHER huge recall today?

There's a couple things you have to remove and the engine is not one of them . the distributor and fan shroud and trans dipstick and trans cooler lines and engine mount bolts so you can lift the motor and the front stabilizer and any thing else that you think might be in the way of lifting the engine up so you can slide the pan out of the way ! Contact me if you need step by step !!

I am thinking of buying a 1997 Pontiac Grand Am SE. Anything I should know about the history of these vehicles

it is easier to change it that way but you don't have to remove the engine. you will need help though. I just finished helping my neighbor with the same thing. He wouldn't have been able to do it without the help. when you do it you will see what i mean. too much to explain but it's not bad with help. good luck!

chrome rims?

I assume you mean 4.9-litre? Anyway, I don't know about that engine, but with the 5.0 or 5.8 you have to at least lift the engine to change the pump or properly do the pan gasket.

manual transmission swap , the clutch pedal stops?

Never changed on on that motor but I would suggest going to your local parts store and purchasing a mechanics manual for your vehicle. It will give you step by step instructions on how to install the pump as well as any other device that could possibly fail.

what is better a 69 camaro or a 71 charger?

which wire is the ground going to the rear speakers of an 02 Ford Focus SE?

I have a Ranger with the same engine, I havn't done had to do it to mine, but go to TheRangerStation.com and check out the forums for the 2.9L there should be something there for that. I think I've read a few topics about that. I believe you do not have to remove the engine, but lift it in the very least. The 2.9L was a solid engine, but not very well designed for the Ranger Platform. And I'm also guessing its a Bronco II and not a Bronco. Either way, TheRangerStation will have what you're looking for, just follow thier rules before posting any topics.
