I'm trying to find out if the 02 Land Rover Freelander is a safe vehicle. The NTSHA didn't have any crash test results for that or any year. Anybody have any ideas on where I could find this information?

I would try and find a report of any sort. I believe I saw one on Top Gear which had been crash tested - the results were what you might call "interesting reading". It will probably have been tested in the UK as well.
If you can't find one for that year I think I would get the previous test results and the subsequent test results to see if they differ.
If I remember rightly, based on the Top Gear program, I think it is in your interest to view the results.
