My drivers side axle(half shaft) on my 2001 Chevy Prism has a little play is that normal?

If it is 'tinka tinka' play is normal, if it is kachunka chunka it s not.
For kachunka chunka look at the and check all bearings It could be a CV, if the noise just started and wasn't there previously, I would have that checked out before something falls off, like a wheel or an axle.
I don't do front wheel drives. I am not certain.
