How do I add manual transmission fluid to my 1999 VW Beetle- 2.0 L?

My 1997 Pontiac Grand Am SE sounds like a lawnmower!?

WHY? Manual transmissions are basically good for the life of the car. Thats why there is no easy filler access. It will be a female hex socket nut on the side of the housing. Car needs to be level, open the socket nut and see if there is any fluid just by sticking your pinky finger in. It should be right up to the hole.-no higher. If it is there, close it up. 90W gear oil aint gonna go anywhere.

What is an estimated cost of putting a new engine in a 1999 Mazda?

Manual trans on your beetle should not require adding fluid...

My Ford 8N will not start.?

Look in it up in the owners manual but there's something wrong if you are missing fluid.
