Question:
IS a350 chevy on the firing order the same as a 400 big block ?
Answers:
GM Best coverage in america? What about Hyundai?
Yes, firing order is the same chevy or pontiac. However, 350/400/455 Pontiac engines are not like chevys, and the distributor turns counter-clockwise. Most distributors (chevy, ford, etc) turn clockwise. Pontiac turns counter clockwise. Why can't I post pictures of my Navigator on Yahoo Custom Autos?
You'll have to find TDC on the number 1 plug. Pull both valvecovers. When both valvesprings are closed on #1, and the timing marks line up, thats #1 firing position. Turn up distributor to line up the cap and rotor, and the number one plug wire goes there. Then string the firing order CCW from there.

What's the loud message in Japanese I hear from my RAV4 (1998) anytime the ignition is turned off?
Check to make sure you've got power to coil when cranking. Pontiac wiring harnesses route power thru starter solenoid when cranking.
