Does the stereo in the FJ have an external amp?

Question:
My FJ should be arriving in mid Feb. and I was planning out the stereo system. Does anyone know if the head unit has an integrated amp for the eight speakers, or is it external? I plan to use the stock speakers with the Alpine IVA D900 head unit from my last vehicle.

Why aren't you asking the dealer you ordered the car from? They deal in Toyotas..I don't know...EVERYDAY! In most cases with multispeaker systems, the amp is external.
