You really can't compare makes of new cars. They all use the same technology during production. Most all are now made in the US, there is really little difference other than options and equipment. And the rest, well...they were all made the same way too...crappy. They are all pretty close, you have made a good choice in the 7.3l since its tried and true and quite reliable. I have a 2000 with 223000 on the clock. Stay away from the 6.0l and anything newer than Jan 1st of 2007, thats when the new emission equiped trucks roll off the line. GM is good for ride quality and for being quiet. Dodge truck does not seem to be as good in the quality compartment, but is 5.9l Isb Cummins is excellent. Even here in Flint MI GM truck capitol there are more Ford heavy duty trucks on the road than anything, just look at your freeways across the country, its a Ford dominance and that I think speaks volumes.More Questions & Answers ...
