1986 - 87 Mitsubishi Galant fuel shut off / collision kill switch?

Question:
I am trying to get a car ready for a Demo - Derby and last year one of my buddies found out the hard way about fuel shut off / collision kill switches. First hit and he was out of the derby. This year I'm using a 86-87 Mitsubishi Galant and I don't want to encounter the same problem. If anyone knows where that little sucker is, and how to disable it, please advise. Thanks! J Z
