The ISUZU trooper has a bit of a problem when it comes to checking the trans fluid. What you have to do is climb under the vehicle. On the pass side rear bottom of the trans pan there are 2 plugs. one is on the bottom and the other is up a little higher. You have to run the vehicle through all the gears and then place into park leave vehicle running and remove the higher plug if trans fluid comes out of the hole then the trans is full. if not you have to fill it through the hole until fluid comes out of hole. then replace plug. (engine has to stay running entire time that the plug is out). GOOD LUCK! Hope this helps.
