Yes CJ7 and YJ tops are interchangeable. On a YJ you open the tailgate, then glass. On a CJ you open the glass then the tailgate. So if you use a CJ top on a YJ you have to open the glass and the tailgate at the same time if you have a spare tire mounted on the tailgate. Not likely. In 1984, there wasn't a Wrangler. Those were CJs. The 1995 model is a YJ. Very close in a lot of aspects, but I don't believe the tops are interchangeable. Anything from 1987 to 1995 should work on your '95.

Yes, but the tailgate set-up will be an issue. On the 84 CJ, the tailgate swings down, and on the 95 YJ (Wrangler), the tailgate swings out from the side. Being a Jeep fan/owner my first impresion was that it WON'T fit, being the YJ lower and wider than the CJ. Now I have second thoughts.It will fit nicely in both sides, rear door won't fit but doable, but the real problem comes in the windshield frame height.
But as somebody said before, it the top is free, just take it.
Worst scenario will be you working weekends with lots of sandpaper and fiberglass compound to make it fit.
