Question:
I have Chevy Malibu 1998 LS. It has some settings (maybe known as governer settings), that it does not go over 105 m/h. I want to know, what are these "restrecting settings" and how can I modify/ eliminate them.
Thank you.

I would like to know if anyone has anything to say about the pt cruiser. Is it a good car?
all the governer is on this car is a fuel shut off so when the car goes over the set speed the computer stops sending fuel to the engine. you could buy a chip or a program that allows you to reprogram the computer but they cost up to $500, or could build a stand alone fuel management system and save a lot of money. just search the internet for it and you will find all the digrams and where to by the parts to build it. there use to be a site that sold everything you need for like $100.Where can I find scamatics on a 2001 Dodge Dakota?

Only by modifying the settings of the computer, perhaps by changing a chip. Be aware it will also allow the engine to over rev if you do, which can cause damage.I need a diesel automatic estate car anyone got one they can reccomend, anyone got one to avoid.?
