I really like the Hummer H3. The fuel milage seems the same as other mid-size SUV's. Does anyone own the 2007 H3? I heard the engine has an extra 20 horse power. Is it good for driving on the freeway?

The horsepower difference from past model years won't affect the highway fuel economy label as it is not exercised in the fuel economy tests (stupid government test which doesn't represent the majority of customer driving habits). Where it will affect your performance is in your daily drive if you like to accelerate heavily and go fast...especially in city traffic (2006 vs 2007 City fuel economies are 16 and 15 MPG, respectively). Other areas it will affect (positives) are towing, and sand bogging.

So, if you want a daily commuter, don't get an SUV... But if you want a rock crawlin, mud slinging, sand dancing vehicle, and have the cash to pay for the fuel of a typical SUV... go for it.
