As far as being enviromentaly friendly,don't buy a hybrid.What do you think all those batteries are made of,nickel from Canada that is smelted and has ruined the enviroment around the plant so badly nothing will grow there.Then it is exported to Japan and made into batteries,and then some is exported back to US.Then the life of the hybrid is only 100000 miles,so you can buy a gasoline engine car and it will last 300000 miles if you take care of it.What is the difference between cable transmission and a hydraulic transmission?
