I need to check the fuses because my boot won't open and my manual refers me to a fuse layout card inside the fuse box but unfortunately I don't seem to have one. I would appreciate the diagram if you have one or if you have any other ideas re why my boot will not open it would be appreciated

i do however know that the central convienience system can for no reason re-program its self to only open certain doors, including the tailgate, so it may need re-programming with 5051 the vag computer.
have you noticed if your rear jet works still or to its full potential, some of our customers have leaks in the tauilgate when the jet pipe disconnects, which mk4 golfs are prone to and this causes the wiring to rust/corrode and get bad earths or shorts.

Is it possible that you have made the central locking program change and now the central locking will not open the boot.Check your hand book for how to reconfigure the central locking.Does a1995 ford taurus have ovarings on the powersteering line?
On my golf the fuse layout is stuck to the inside of the fuse cover ,i hope this help youMore Questions & Answers ...
