Is a celica better than an acura and a pontiac?
I have the same car and can imagine the problem you have. Wouldn't bypassing it be an issue when it comes to insurance? Can the immobiliser unit be sourced at a scrap yard? My Megane has had some electrical issues - all easily fixed by an auto electician. Might be worth consulting such a fellow in your area. Can you not just turn it off. that's what i did to mine when it went. There should be a little key hole in the glove compartment. You wont have an immobiliser or the alarm set. But the key fob will still lock the car up.
I have a 98 Megane, the immobiliser is a bastard! If you bypass it aren't you running the risk of not being covered by insurance? I would weigh up the pros and cons of just getting it fixed for 200 and having peace of mind and a 6 month to 1 year warranty depending on the garage you go to. I have just checked out your product on the website. All sounds like a lot of hard work
What type of engine does a gt40 have?
