Whts the diff betwn recal valve body&aod transpak kit besides $300.00 lol. do they do the same thing?

I'm adding a powerworks kit to my 02 focus zts.someone had mentioned the vavle body to me.that was when i found that there was two different things for your trans.I want to do the right thing so as not to inflict damage to trans.thanks for any help!

I own a transmission shop, and I can tell you this; One is a rebuild kit that contains clutches, steels, and all the parts to rebuild the tranny with. The re-calibrating kit for the valve body is better know as a shift kit, and doesn't contain any parts other than what it takes to add the shift kit.
