Where can I find a good body kit for a Camaro?
Your water pump is located on the front of then engine (against the passenger fender wall) It is hidden underneath the timing belt cover, and is driven by a the timing belt. You will have 8 to 10 small (1/2 in or so) bolts to remove to get the timing belt cover off, then you can have a look at the pump for any signs of problems. If you are going to remove it be VERY careful not to turn any of the notched or grooved pulleys while doing so, this will put the engine and valve train out of alligment and may result in a rather nasty suprise when you re-start it. Best thing to do is to use some whiteout(liquid paper) and mark the belt and pulleys before removing anything. that way you can be sure everything is lined up after you are done with the pump.More Questions & Answers ...
