Help on my elcamino please?

the heater blower in my car wont work the blower is new and the fuse is good what else can i look for is there something common that goes wrong ?

I own a shop, and think this; You can have a bad relay, resistor cluster, control switch, or a broke circuit somewhere. Try hooking a straight 12 volt supply from the battery to the blower to see if it works then. If it does, then use a test light, and work your way back to the power source, or until you find the problem. If it doesn't, then try cleaning the ground wire for the blower, as it must have a ground wire going to the body, and the engine must have a ground strap going from the engine to the body. Also; see if there is a ground wire that runs to the body/frame from the battery cable. 99% of the time the resistor will still have high speed, because the resistor when switched to any other section will not work due to the coils in them cut the power down, and are bad to burn in to. The switch changes the direction of the supply voltage to which ever resistor coil it needs to operate that speed. High speed is straight through and does not need the resistor, so you should have high regardless of the resistors condition. Look for the power or ground loss.

i own a repair shop and these have a blower motor resistor on them that goes bad it mounts on the out side of the heater box with two screws,but that's whats wrong with it it will knock it out all the way, but usually it just makes it work on one or two speeds,but that's what you probably need to replace,good luck i hope this helps.
