How many more miles can I expect to get out of this car? There are some visual flaws (dents and scratches) but it still runs like it's brand new. I always change the oil every 3K miles, and always watch the coolant level. What are some things that will inevitably go wrong with it as I add miles to the car? And when will they happen and is there anything I can do about it? Thank you.

I've had problems where the "Theft System" light comes on and flashes...so I couldn't start the car for about 10-15 mins. I'm still working on that, and it sometimes comes on when I'm driving, but doesn't affect anything. It hasn't caused any real problems lately.The only other problem was that recently it's been hard to start. And that was due to some part with "fuel" in the name...it was a something or other. We changed it and saw there was a little filter in it that may have been getting clogged... Sorry I can't help more, lol, but my dad's out right now.

I'm pushing 200,000 miles and I haven't had any Major problems, just those listed above. I've heard that the theft system thing is pretty common, but you can reset the key to the system or some such nonsense, as we learned from a mechanic.

you ca run into intake gasket problems on these ( on 3.1 , 3.4, 3.8 liter engines. also ive seen wheel bearing assemblies go bad in the front. in states where the roads are salted in the winter causes the brake and fuel lines to rot out quick.Hopefully you've got a new battery by now, and not riding on the original tires. Here's my list: Fuel Pump, Catalytic Converter, Transmission. It's not a certainty though. U.S. cars are better than most people believe. Do you think all those giant Nissan & Toyota service centers are just doing oil changes?
