You could add a gear drive timing. Not an easy upgrade since all the components need to be set up with a micromiter. You can also add a high volume electric fuel pump, look at a Holley red or blue, depending on the amount of fuel your carb needs. Ignition control module, Accel tach with shift light or even just a body lift or suspension. You can add breather valves on your valve covers. K&N makes some great air filters too. They are ment to be cleaned and last a long time and you get a better air flow. You can upgrade your wires to a 10mm. I like Summit Racing and Jegs for low cost parts.I am a bit of fan of the 460 bigblock-bore her 60 over and go nuts, mine dyno'd in at 698hsp!!!

How do you change the fuel filter on a 2006 Hyundai Sonata?
new air filter and cover to allow more airflow. a cam if you want to install it yourself to save money. Sounds like it is about done for the "cheap" mods. Sounds fast too.Well, you could obviously change your air filter, but you could also put an aluminum intake on to match your Edelbrock carb. That's usually a very winning combination.
You may want to upgrade to some Ford Racing 8mm ignition wires, I've had good luck with using 8mm over the stock 7mm ones.
Being a Cobra motor, it probably already has a pretty good distributor, but there's always the aftermarket MSD/Mallory ones with matching coils you can add.
What kind of transmission do you have? You may be able to put a shift kit in it, or if it's a Ford AOD you can tune those a little sometimes.
