what do you think of the lastest model of RAV 4?
Oil i would use 5W30 if it is cool to cold where you are, or if its hot where you are, i would use 10W30, as for the coolant, that vehicle calls for DexCool. Do not mix coolant types. Dexcool is a redish colour. The resivor will have a cap that had either red or green writing on it, if it is red, use DexCool, if it is green, use the regular ethaline glycol. Is a Dodge intrepid a good car?
every vehicile that i have owned and just about all of them are some make of general motors all i run is valvoline 20W50 racingCitroen Saxo - internal light display?
10w30 should cover most conditons hot and cold, and dexcool(orange) is factory. if yours is green, flush and replace with the correct type. i own a 97 z71 w/180,000 mi. oil change every 3000 and flush coolant every 2 yrs w/ 1 waterpump replaced at 100,000Subaru Outback remote starter installs?
5W30 when it is cold.... the winter.... and 10W30 in the summer or warm to hot weather. As for coolant I just regular prestone 50/50.O7 Honda Civic 2dr or Scion TC?
If the engine has over 50,000 miles on it use a good quality 10w30 in the winter and 10w40 in the summer. Over about 125,000 I'd use a good 20w50 in the summer for extended daily temps over 90-95 deg.As far as coolant...Dex-Cool is in the process of settling lawsuits for cooling system and engine damages! This stuff clogs cooling systems-period! Use regular antifreeze. Its cheaper and despite what some people will tell you it will not harm your engine or any seals-period! The water pump has the same seals as pre-dexcool water pump seals-period!
Hope this helps.
Depending if your loosing oil or not.. If no go to www.lubedealer.com/alabamaamso... Amsoil 0W-50 last for 35000 miles between oil changes and is 100% Synthetic! There is nothing better. They have racing oils, diesel etc.. if you loose oil or need to refill it regularly.. use a 10W-30 from walmart.
